Lactation Consultation/Feeding support with Rebecca

Face to face support, in the convenience of your own home, allows the time to explore options and any issues arising. I will take a comprehensive history of your pregnancy and birth, including that of any previous children. We can then discuss your current feeding journey and formulate a plan, along with a full of feeding assessment. Virtual support is also available, upon request.

For those who have burning questions, I offer a message support package via text or WhatsApp. This is two weeks of support where you can also send me photos and videos for assessment. Please note that this does not include live video calls or very intensive support. For this, I recommend booking a home visit.

I have supported hundreds of families with issues such as; nipple pain, milk supply, unsettled babies, expressing, breast reduction, slow weight gain, tongue tie and many more.  I can perform an initial examination of the oral cavity and explore further options for you, should we suspect a tongue tie. I also support with responsive/ paced bottle feeding.

​As an IBCLC, I have a toolkit of items that can improve your feeding experience, if needed. These will be available for use only when clearly indicated and are included in the initial cost. The price of the visit also includes up to 2 weeks of follow up text/Whatsapp support. .

I also offer an Antenatal Feeding Preparation Workshop. A chance to discuss your feeding goals and any worries you might have, before your little one arrives. This is up to a 90 minute session to help you feel fully prepared from birth onwards. Topics covered include: preparing to breastfeed, the first hour, skin to skin, hand expressing, responding to your babies needs, baby brain development and much more. Q&A session at end. Virtual session via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available to purchase and can be redeemed for the services listed. Please note these are non-refundable. 

 

Payment

Payment for one off home visits can be made in advance by bank transfer, cash or by credit/debit card at the start of my visit. Payments for online workshops are payable in advance at booking.

Mileage

This is included in the prices quoted, up to 30 minutes from my home. Please note that there is an additional mileage charge for further afield.

Deposit and cancellation fees

Unfortunately a small number of clients have continued to cancel appointments at short notice, which means that appointments are wasted and other families who could have had those appointments have to wait longer. There is a non refundable deposit of £30 for all appointments. This will be used toward final cost. Online and face to face appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or where a client fails to attend, are subject to the full charge for that appointment.
